Damon went out in the morning with the other engine but it wasn’t 100%. Instead of chasing the issue, the team decided to park the #55 Baba for the day.
Brock had a decent heat in the morning finishing 4th after a whole race battle with Matt Smith #65.
The overall weekend results meant Brock would start the final in P6. After a good start and battle with Briney Rigby #104 in the opening laps, Brock made his way to 4th and on the tail of the podium.
About mid way through the race a red flag halted the race due to a stopped boat on the course, around the same time the rear cowling of the #98 DAC come undone. Brock was on the less preferred side of the grid for the rolling restart and dropped a place back to 5th where he finished the race.
The team had an average weekend but there is some positives to take from the final and plenty of work to do to ensure we bounce back faster for 2021.
