Damon crashes out heavily while trying to make a pass for the lead on the last lap of this afternoons reverse grid heat race.
Damon extracted himself from the boat and was checked out by the paramedics. He has a swollen ankle, bruised leg and swallowed some water but he is ok.
Will finished in fourth but may be regulated to third pending a penalty to one of the boats in front possibly hitting a turn buoy who which would incur a one lap penalty.
Damon will not be a starter for the Mulwala GP final later today
